RI Awarded a Certificate of Commendation for Initial Commissioning of the Linac for BNL’s National Synchrotron Light Source II May 21st, 2012 RI Research Instruments GmbH (RI), a majority-owned subsidiary of Bruker Energy & Supercon Technologies (BEST), Inc., was awarded a certificate of commendation at a Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) ceremony on April 26, 2012 celebrating the completion of the NSLS-II ring building and the initial commissioning of the linear accelerator (linac) delivered by RI.

RI Awarded Contracts for Superconducting Accelerating Modules from South Korea and Great Britain May 9th, 2012 BEST subsidiary RI Research Instruments GmbH today announced the award of a contract with the South Korea-based Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL) for the supply of a 500 MHz superconducting accelerator module, as well as the award of another contract with Diamond Light Source in Great Britain for a similar 500 MHz superconducting accelerator module. The value of both contracts together is approximately $5.2 million.
