If you're familiar with the traditions of North Rhine-Westphalia, you won’t be surprised to hear that carnival is a big deal at RI too! Now that Ash Wednesday has arrived, marking the end of the season, it’s the perfect time to look back at the fun we had.

On Weiberfastnacht (Old Wives' Day)—celebrated on the Thursday before Ash Wednesday—the festivities kicked off right on time at 11:11 a.m.! Our break room transformed into a true carnival stronghold, filled with laughter, music, and festive spirit.
With colleagues dressed up (or not!), the energy was contagious, and the celebrations were in full swing. It was a day of joy, music, and togetherness—just as carnival should be!
