it's a contract to build and deliver a cryogenically cooled permanent magnet undulator (CPMU209, including a liquid-nitrogen cryocooler system.
This cutting-edge undulator will generate photons for the upcoming Soft-to-Tender X-ray Spectroscopy (SoTeXS) beamline at BESSY II. SoTeXS will be dedicated to advancing battery research, enabling new insights into materials, efficiency, and durability.
We are happy to be working on such a bright photon source and look forward to seeing it illuminate many groundbreaking experiments at HZB.
