As we do every year, we got together in the break room at 11:11 a.m. sharp on Weiberfastnacht  and, as is customary in the Rhineland, officially kicked off the carnival season! For those of you who aren't from Cologne, this is the fifth season, and as you know, we take it very seriously. 

We welcomed the carnival season with good music, delicious snacks and, of course, a cold drink or two. The atmosphere was lively, cheerful and typically Cologne: open, warm and a little crazy. Just as Carnival should be!

We are already looking forward to next year, when it will be time to say once again: I'll count to three and then it's Carnival!
