How did you come to join RI?
I have been working at RI Research Instruments GmbH for eleven years now. I became aware of RI through a job advertisement on the internet. RI is engaged in the development and manufacturing of innovative electromagnetic components and systems for particle accelerator facilities and other applications in science, energy technology, medicine, and industry. The company has a future-oriented approach.
How was your onboarding process?
I work in the financial accounting department as an financial accountant. The onboarding process went very well. They took the time to explain the procedures properly, and they were always available to answer any questions I had. My team is simply amazing. We support each other, coordinate our work, and I can rely on everyone. The atmosphere in my department is excellent. As I have a family with three children, it's sometimes not easy to juggle everything, but in the accounting department, that has never been a problem.
What are you currently doing at RI?
My main task is processing invoices. I book incoming invoices and credit notes in SAP and AP+. Over the years, I have also learned additional tasks, such as reconciling bank statements, creating payments and submitting them to the bank, booking provisions and reversals, handling travel expenses and petty cash, and processing reminders. I am very happy to be an employee at RI.
