Story

Karolin H.

Project Engineer

How did you come to join RI?

During my physics studies, I completed a three-month internship at RI and then continued as a working student . I liked both and so it was clear to me that I would apply for a permanent position at RI when I finished my studies.

What are you currently doing at RI?

I am a project engineer in the field of superconducting RF cavities for particle accelerators. As part of a team, I am involved in almost the entire cycle of a project from quotation to delivery. The tasks are varied and so almost no day is like the other.

What makes RI special to you?

For me, RI is characterised by a great diversity, both in terms of the areas of application of the end products and in terms of the manufacturing techniques required to produce these products. And of course nice and helpful colleagues from whom you learn something new every day!
