How did you come to join RI?

I became aware of RI in 2021 through a recruitment agency that contacted me via Xing. The position sounded exciting, and I had a good feeling right from the first conversation. This feeling was confirmed during the application process and when I started: I was warmly welcomed, the onboarding was well-structured, and I was able to contribute effectively from the very beginning. 

What exactly do you do at RI? 

I started at RI in IT service/support. At the beginning of 2025, I took on the position of IT Service Coordinator. In this role, I lead a dedicated team of three colleagues in IT service. Together, we provide IT support for all departments across the company. 

It's not just about technical solutions – it’s also about truly embodying a service mindset: being fast, reliable, and always open to the concerns of our colleagues. 

What do you like about RI? 

What excites me most about the company is the excellent working environment. Teamwork is fun, and interactions with other departments are mostly very pleasant – we have many friendly and helpful colleagues throughout the company. I especially value the collaborative spirit, where we’re always able to find a good path forward together, even when opinions differ. My direct supervisor also contributes a lot to the positive team dynamic with his friendly and understanding nature. 

The overall conditions are also great: we receive a bonus every year as well as regular salary increases. In addition, the company supports a healthy work-life balance, which is a big plus for me. Of course, there are also areas for improvement – for example, cross-departmental communication on new projects or technical changes. There is definitely room for more transparency and better coordination here. But I also see that this issue has been acknowledged and is being worked on. 

Overall, I’m very happy at the RI. I enjoy coming to work, I have a great team by my side, and I’m able to contribute my strengths. For anyone looking for an employer with a fair, collaborative environment and exciting tasks, RI is definitely worth considering.
